The Academy has an on site pre-school and nursery taking children from 2 years of age. There are 13 classes from pre-school to year 6, many of which are mixed age. The number of pupils on role is growing but there are currently 326 registered.

Salary: Leadership L2 - L6 £40,360 - £44,544 a year
Hours per week: 1.0 FTE, Full time
A key member of the Academy Leadership Team, you will provide direction, inspiration and guidance to our teaching staff. Focused on developing a high performing team, you along with the support of the Headteacher embedding strong operational systems to support significant pupil growth in the next phase of the academy’s development.
The Assistant Head Teacher will deliver strategic leadership of teaching, learning and assessment across the academy, dissemination and development of effective practice, coaching and mentoring, management of the wider academy learning and teaching team and focus on the learning and development needs of the whole academy workforce.
Able to drive excellence by valuing and developing others, you will be a qualified teacher with extensive experience of both hands-on teaching and management in education. This means you will be fully up to date with curriculum developments. Strong on leadership and people management, you will have a flair for setting and meeting challenging performance targets.
Able to work with a high degree of cultural sensitivity in our changing and fast-paced environment, you will have the ability to use a range of communication strategies and channels.
