The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the development and delivery and of the Cultural Learning, Creativity and Skills programming at the Culture Trust’s three venues: Wardown House Museum, Stockwood Discovery Centre and the Hat Factory Arts Centre. This role will deliver excellent customer-focused workshops and outcomes agreed in the Trust Business plan. A key aspect of this role will be to coordinate and deliver activity in partnership with diverse communities across Luton, including schools, colleges and Universities to coordinate the engagement of young people with our exemplary cultural learning and skills programme. The postholder will support and develop existing programmes and grow new activities that will expand cultural learning and skills benefits with a focus on local people. The coordinator will develop and deliver exciting workshops, activities and events to promote arts, heritage, creative industry careers and cultural skills. In doing so, the post holder will develop and coordinate new initiatives, projects and ideas which promote learning and skills career progression for young people.
