Salary: £42,821 - £45,859 per year, plus £3,203 car benefit and £5,500 market supplement

Are you interested in being jointly responsible for the maintenance of the childcare system? Are you dedicated to ensuring that reviews of Looked after Children and Child Protection Conferences are completed within statutory timescales? Are you able to deliver high standards? We have an exciting and rewarding role available within our Children Social Care division as part of our Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team. You will have the opportunity to chair reviews of Looked after Children and Child protection conferences, and contribute to the development and quality assurance of service standards.

You will be able to build on your existing substantial experience of working with looked after children and children who are subject to child protection plans. This also includes complex legal proceedings.

About you

So, if you have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of child care legislation, the ability to authoritatively Chair key multi-agency meetings and a Degree or Diploma in Social Worker or equivalent, then we look forward to receiving your application!
