The vacancies are for a March 2019 start

Richmond Hill is a school for primary aged pupils with severe and complex difficulties which include those on the autism spectrum. We are in a period of expansion and our new additional site opened in September 2016.  
We currently have 214 pupils on roll, grouped into 26 classes according to age & ability and across 2 sites.  Years 1 – 3 (14 classes) are at our Crawley Green Road Site and the remaining 12 classes at Sunridge Avenue.

Salary: £11,214 - £11,736 a year
Hours per week: 28.75, Term time

We have vacancies due to an increase in the number of pupils on roll for energetic, creative and motivated Teaching Assistants who will take an active part in all aspects of the curriculum and enjoy assisting our pupils to learn and make progress. We have a fun approach to the curriculum and celebrate enthusiastically each child’s small steps of achievement.

About you


Knowledge of a range of special needs would be useful; however we do provide a comprehensive induction and training programme. We do not require formal qualifications; however applicants must have good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
