The St Alban Catholic Academies Trust is a partnership of 5 Catholic schools, including Cardinal Newman Secondary, St Margaret of Scotland Primary, St Martin de Porres Primary, St Marys Primary, and St Vincents Primary. It is responsible for the education of over 3000 pupils from ages 3 to 19. The Trust seeks excellence in all that it does which is reflected in its mission is to shape the lives of young people for the better and in doing so, transform the communities in which they live.

About the job

 


Salary: £28,785 -£31,371 a year
Hours per week: 37, Full time


Due to continuing expansion of the Trust we have an exciting new vacancy for a Trust Finance Manager. The role will require you to support the Chief Finance & HR Officer ensuring full compliance in line with the Academies and Trust Financial regulations and policies.
You will manage and monitor the workload of the Finance Officers teams, providing support and training to a variety of stakeholders.
You will be based primarily at St Margaret of Scotland Primary school alongside the Central Finance Team but will be required to travel to other school sites

About you

The successful candidate will need to have substantial accounts experience, requiring a high level of accuracy and
analytical skill. In addition you will have experience of managing other staff. The position will require you to work
flexibly and be a driving force for continual improvement within our Trust.
